Clean Harbors, a leader in North American environmental and industrial services, is seeking a dedicated Insite Vacuum Truck Operator to join our team. This role is crucial for maintaining the safety and efficiency of on-site operations, primarily focusing on waste removal and spill cleanups at various client locations. The successful candidate will operate specialized equipment to transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste while complying with all safety regulations and company protocols. This position not only supports environmental sustainability but also plays a key role in safeguarding community welfare and natural resources. Operate vacuum trucks and related equipment for the collection, transportation, and disposal of waste materials. Ensure strict compliance with health and safety policies during all operations. Perform daily inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure operational efficacy and safety. Respond promptly to emergency spills and manage the cleanup efficiently. Maintain accurate and detailed logs of operations and services performed. Attend and participate in safety meetings and training sessions. Proficiency in operating vacuum trucks and other industrial vehicles Strong understanding of hazardous materials handling and waste disposal Ability to perform physical tasks and lift items weighing up to 50 lbs Excellent communication and documentation skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record OSHA Hazardous Waste Operations & Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) certification Training in Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG)
