POSITION SUMMARY: The Functional Lead is responsible for implementing and maintaining system configurations for their area of specialization - Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A). They provide advisory services and guidance to management regarding system requirements based on organization resources and needs. A primary responsibility includes giving technical guidance and direction to administrative, functional, and clerical staff on the operation and maintenance of the FP&A system. They also support organization core users thru streamlining or reengineering processes, performing analysis of business processes, and improving how those processes function in order to reduce overall costs or provide functional efficiencies. The Functional Lead provides on-the-job and formal training to functional system users. They are responsible for coordinating the testing of new configurations prior to production, troubleshooting technical issues, and developing and implementing strategies to address problem areas that arise from ongoing operational support. JOB SPECIFICATIONS: Education: Minimum: Bachelor's degree in Finance--or a related field. Preferred: N/A Experience: Minimum: 5-7 years in a functional or technical support role in a customer-focused, fast-paced environment, prior experience utilizing various ERP systems and applications. • PMP and Workday Pro HCM Certification preferred

  • Demonstrated ability to manage/coordinate multiple projects and successfully prioritize multiple tasks with good judgment and in an effective and productive manner.
  • Strong customer service ethic delivering with a sense of urgency and handling confidential information discreetly.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong proficiency with MS Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Strong written, verbal communications and presentation skills.
  • Strong attention to detail POSITION DUTIES:
    • Core user escalation point for customer related Workday issues - Work with organization end users / customers to diagnose and resolve Workday functional issues
    • Escalate issues and risks to organizational leadership as needed
    • Manage/coordinate multiple Workday functional projects and successfully prioritize multiple support tasks in collaboration with other Workday leads and the organization project management office (PMO).
    • Update Workday business processes and functional configurations
    • Work with subject matter experts to ensure that testing scenarios are created and executed for all configuration updatesAssist core users in the preparation, maintenance, and updating of data in Workday
    • Assist functional users with report development or maintenance
