Job Description:

Essential Functions including but not limited to:
Strategic team builder that can currently manage a P&L from top to bottom.
Organize a team to get people back into their homes, communities back up and operating. Must have a drive to help people who have suffered a loss.
Evaluate and anticipate changing market conditions and work as part of an executive team to communicate regional market needs and propose solutions. Must be an avid learner and have a strong personal commitment to quality and efficiency.
Lead and train a team in the construction and rehabilitation of homes, to ensure stringent standards are achieved in: Customer Service, Quality, Budget, and Schedule aspects.
Provide leadership, establish strategic direction and drive operations to exceed division objectives.
Strategically lead, plan and take ownership of execution and results, including land plan execution, margin, revenue, unit and customer satisfaction growth.
Demonstrates the leadership necessary to make the community a success. This leadership includes providing leadership vision, leadership that attracts followers, and all other aspects of successful leadership.
Understands how to plan and prioritize areas of improvement and excellent tracking and follow up skills to drive continuous improvement. Prepare/review budgets; monitor costs to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Takes responsibility for all operations of the division, including administration, production, and warranty.
Monitor market for competitive information and product innovation opportunities.
Understands and implements activities that improve performance and is interested in helping others develop and succeed. Provide performance feedback as needed; ensure performance related issues are addressed and reach resolution; evaluate performance objectively with a results-oriented focus.
Attract, recruit, train, motivate, and manage teams to achieve division and company objectives.
Plays an active role in developing, implementing, and achieving the strategic and annual operating plans of the division to meet company growth targets and projections.
Participates in talent management activities including bench development and succession planning, recruiting, training, and motivating and managing division leadership to execute the agreed upon plans and objectives of the company.
Provides strategic insight, operational advice and leadership related to the division's short- and long-range business objectives/goals.
Works with CEO / CSO / COO / CFO to update and support growth of the company to repair more homes and get people back into their restored homes and community as soon as possible as to the assigned division's overall business plan, with all relevant analysis of new and existing opportunities. Monitors relevant changes in the marketplace and works to continuously position the division to take advantage of opportunities.
Establishes, approves, and monitors department operating budgets.
Collaboratively leads (organizes, plans, directs, staffs, coordinates and communicates) the division's management team and staff to execute the business plan, as well as changes to operations needed to meet company specific goals (including local and company-wide objectives/initiatives).
Effectively evaluates the success of the division.
Proactively supports and ensures compliance with company policies and procedures.
Ensure the division follows policies and standards set for performance
Is an active proponent to get families and individuals into their home following a major disruption. This will require a talent to motivate others by being an example that others will follow

Education and Skill Requirements:
Division/regional management experience in homebuilding (Government contract experience a plus)
Preferred functional expertise in the areas of Rehabilitation, Reconstruction, Finance, Purchasing)
Ability to set and meet financial plans
Willing to learn and adapt
Understands interpersonal and communication skills are essential
Bachelor's degree required
