Crescent Bank is looking for a talented professional to fill an open position as a Data Auditor. The Data Auditor is responsible for managing the data used for audit functions and develops analytics for use in auditing. The position requires the Data Auditor to develop relationships with business owners to accurately access and determine appropriate data sources, data usage methodology and requirement for audit use. Additionally, the Data Auditor is responsible for ensuring adequacy and effectiveness of audit tests and controls to ensure data, process and testing are all aligned for optimal audit results.Company Profile:Crescent Bank began in 1991 as a small New Orleans based community bank. Today, Crescent Bank has a presence nationwide and is on a mission to leverage technology to provide auto lending and savings access to consumers who may not be served by other traditional banking products.Crescent Bank prioritizes employee growth and advancement- both as employees and as individuals- through our core values and through the benefits we offer.Our Core Values include Be a Team Player, Continuously Improve, Do the Right Thing, Put the Customer First, & Take OwnershipWe are proud to offer the following key benefits:--- Workplace flexibility for eligible positions--- All the insurance programs you'd expect- health, dental, vision, life, disability, + more--- Multiple types of paid time off--- Retirement program with company contribution--- Paid parental Leave--- Award-winning Wellness programs--- Tuition Reimbursement--- Payroll on Demand- access your pay when you need it most.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:--- Identify, design, and develop data analytics extract routines to support audit activities performed by the Internal Audit Team.--- Manager data extraction, storage, transformation, and processing through data analytics routines, and generate output for visualization/analysis by the Internal Audit Team.--- Use data analysis tools to automate audit testing and develop techniques for continuous auditing and analyzing large volumes of data.--- Interact with management and business partners to identify appropriate data source and data elements required for analytics, apply professional skepticism when assessing data sources and validating the completeness and accuracy of data received.--- Interact and collaborate with Internal Audit Team members in working towards departmental goals.--- Perform audit tests of controls by obtaining and analyzing audit evidence, preparing audit workpapers, evaluating test results, and drawing conclusions on the adequacy and effectiveness of controls.--- Execute on special projects and other assignments as requested by management.--- Works effectively as part of a team atmosphere to perform duties and achieve daily operational goals--- Meets productivity standards in accordance with Crescent Bank's confidentiality policies and organizational values--- Performs additional duties as needed within the departmentPosition Requirements:--- Master's degree in Internal Audit, Data Analytics--- Preferred Certifications: Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), or Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).--- Experience building and supporting continuous audit monitoring programs.--- Strong quantitative, analytical, data intuition, problem-solving skills and proficiency in data analytic techniques.--- Strong knowledge and proficiency in extraction and analysis of data from a wide variety of financial systems, leveraging data analysis tools, SAS, Excel, Access and/or Microsoft SQL.--- Working knowledge of internal controls and auditing techniques.--- Strong communication and relationship building skills.The estimated salary listed online for this job posting is not provided by Crescent Bank.
