Audubon is currently seeking a Project Manager to join our team in
our Metairie, LA Office. The Project Manager will be accountable
for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution,
control and completion of complex and/or large projects ensuring
consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Creates and executes project work plans and revises as
appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
- Identifies resources needed and assigns individual
responsibilities.
- Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and
scope.
- Reviews deliverables prepared by team before passing to
client.
- Effectively applies Audubon methodology and enforces project
standards.
- Prepares for engagement reviews and quality assurance
procedures.
- Minimizes our exposure and risk on project.
- Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored
appropriately.
- Manages the project budget.
- Determines appropriate revenue recognition, ensures timely and
accurate invoicing, and monitors receivables for project.
- Follows up with clients, when necessary, regarding unpaid
invoices.
- Analyzes project profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates,
efficiency and utilization.
- Remains completely accessible to client 24/7 during life of
project and provides single point of contact, ensuring specific
requests are process timely and appropriately.
- Drives Management of Change philosophy and enforces
corresponding procedures.
- Manages the overall execution of T M or small to midsized
(
- Supervises project engineers, coordinators and admins.
- Participates as a contributing member of assigned Business
Unit.
- Consistently acknowledges and appreciates each team member's
contributions.
- Effectively utilizes each team member to his/her fullest
potential.
- Motivates team to work together in the most efficient
manner.
- Keeps track of lessons learned and shares those lessons with
team members.
- Mitigates team conflict and communication problems.
- Suggests areas for improvement in internal processes along with
possible solutions.
- Leads and/or acts as a member of internal teams/task
forces.EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- Associates Degree AND 7+ years of On the Job Training
Education.
- Preferred: BS Engineering, MBA.
- Experience Required: Minimum of 5 years of industry related
experience as a Project Engineer or similar role.
- Experience Preferred: 10 years of field experience working
within the Oil Gas or Hydrocarbon Processing industries.
- Organizes and develops highly functional and effective project
teams.
- Works to instill a sense of project ownership and
accountability in the project team.
- Coordinates and works with other departments (Engineering,
Quality, Procurement, Finance and
- Accounting) to ensure the timely delivery of quality goods and
services which meet or exceed our customer's expectations.
- Provides active coaching and mentoring to Project Engineers
and/or Coordinators assigned tohim/her. Takes an ACTIVE role in
developing their skills and progressing them professionally.
- Identifies opportunities for team member improvement and makes
constructive suggestions for change.
- Complies with and helps to enforce standard policies and
procedures.
