Job Description:

AUTOMOTIVE OFFICE/ACCOUNTING -CLERK Local auto dealership needs an experienced office clerk for immediate employment. - The right person will be dependable, organized and detail-oriented to be part of our support team. - Hours needed are -Monday - Friday, 8 am to 5 pm with opportunity for occasional overtime when -necessary. Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Process new and used vehicles for registration in various states
  
• Prepare tax and title documents
  
• Verification of funding and payoffs before processing title applications
  
• Check for accuracy and completeness of all documents
  
• Bill out dealer trades and -wholesale transactions
  
• Accurately post vehicle sales to accounting
  
• Stock in new and used inventory
  
• Report to management on the status of outstanding issues
  
• Reconcile schedules of inventory, funds due from lenders, customers and wholesalers, we-owes and other sales-related schedules
  
• Perform other duties as assigned
  Qualifications:
  • 
    
  • General accounting knowledge and proficiency
    
  • Commitment to work as a team with management, sales and office coworkers
    
  • Dealertrack software experience is a plus
    
  • Able to perform job duties and meet deadlines easily
    
  • Able to be proactive, take initiative, work both collaboratively and independently
    
  • Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and be professional in appearance and attitude
    
  • Be willing to learn, grow and develop new skills
