Find your future with us.Boeing Defense Systems, Space Launch System Program Chief Engineer and team in New Orleans, LA is seeking an Office Administrator (Level C), who will be instrumental in achieving business objectives through high quality administrative support.--Position Responsibilities:Coordinate and process domestic and international business travel arrangements, monitor designated business traveler's logistics, generate expense reports and assist in reconciling corporate credit card charges to ensure timely and accurate reimbursementCollect and compile data to provide visibility of status for traveler's review and/or signatureManage and coordinate executive calendars and schedule meetings, as requestedPlan and coordinate events to include room logistics, meeting invites, and cateringStay current and knowledgeable on cost policy (allowable versus unallowable charges), travel policy, and catering menusOrder special ergonomic equipment and general office supplies, adhering to the One Boeing Cabinet PolicyTrack and maintain information relative to department and business operationsVerbally communicate a wide variety of information to multiple audiencesTrack and maintain designated conference room schedules for availability and efficient use of resourcesCustomer interfacing and customer event planning, coordination, logistics and executionObtain visitor badges for guests as required for NASA facilityUpdate and maintain various Distribution ListsWork under limited supervisionBasic Qualifications--(Required Skills/Experience):This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. -- 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.More than 1 year of experience as an Office AdministratorExperience with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):At least one year of experience managing schedules and calendars for leadershipSelf-motivated and comfortable working in a busy and dynamic environment with competing prioritiesClear and concise written and oral communication skillsAbility to prioritize requests effectively and efficiently and work with a sense of urgencyExperience making domestic and/or international travel arrangements and generating expense reportsExperience supporting event-type logistics such as transportation arrangements, catering, restaurant, hotel reservations, and car rentalsExperience ordering and maintaining office suppliesTypical Education/Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate+2 years' related work, Bachelor, etc.).Relocation:This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibilityDrug Free Workplace:Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.--Boeing is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
