As the Leviton Load Center Marketing Specialist, you will work with product managers, sales and marketing teams to influence end-users, electrical contractors, and home builders. In this role you will tactically execute various marketing and communication duties including but not limited to competitive research, website updates, literature creation, digital advertising, social media, product launches, and training content. This role will interface across many facets of the organization including technical services, packaging, sales, e-business, and UX. Responsibilities Essential Functions Participate in market research in assigned segment(s), identifying and interpreting key business trends and findings unique to the industry including spending, technology, applications Identify and help execute communication opportunities: social media, digital advertising, trade organizations, publications, meetings and conferences Aid in the development and design of marketing literature, e.g., web content, catalogs, brochures, product specification sheets, advertisements, general public relations, and all other marketing collateral developed to support marketing initiatives Work closely with Leviton's internal business units for new product launch communications Monitor and update LRC (intranet) content as well as Leviton.com (public) Coordinate with e-Business teams to manage retailer/customer web related content Assist in the development of appropriate training materials for the value chain Maintain general awareness of working status for assigned projects Ensure compliance of brand and identity guidelines for developed collateral Additional duties as assigned by Supervisor/Director. Qualifications Education Associate Degree in Marketing, Communications or Business Administration required BA in Marketing or Business Administration preferred Experience Minimum 2 years' experience in a marketing or marketing related position Skills Ability to communicate effectively, cultivate and maintain relationships with vendors, sales, etc. Ability to coordinate with Product Management and creative staff to develop creative, differentiated, and effective marketing and selling tools Ability to create new ideas, and develop tactical plans that support division strategy Ability to create messages and communications vehicles to effectively present the division's message to the target audiences Must be creative, resourceful, able to think independently and capable of working on multiple projects simultaneously Must develop and execute creative solutions to assigned tasks Must have strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel and PowerPoint and graphic software familiarity Ability to work effectively cross functionally Able to work effectively under tight deadlines. Travel 5% travel Workplace Policy - Hybrid Position will require in-office (Melville, NY or New Orleans, LA) 2 days every week. LI-sk1 LI-hybrid
