Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an Architectural Project Manager with a focus in Healthcare Design based in New Orleans, LA. The Project Manager will oversee the coordination of architectural projects from inception to completion. This leadership role requires demonstrated experience in healthcare design and deep familiarity with healthcare design standards, including regulatory, operational, and safety requirements. The successful candidate will lead AQ Studios' healthcare architecture department, ensuring all projects meet client expectations, compliance requirements, and internal standards of excellence. Key responsibilities include: Department-level leadership and oversight of all assigned healthcare projects Ownership of financial and performance metrics for assigned healthcare work Project coordination from design through construction administration and closeout Managing submittals and reviewing construction documentation Ensuring compliance within internal established controls Overseeing internal key success metrics such as profitability, resource planning, and schedule adherence Qualifications Licensed Architect with 10 years of experience , including significant work in healthcare architecture Proven experience with healthcare facility design standards (e.g., FGI Guidelines, NFPA, Joint Commission compliance) Strong expertise in project coordination and submittal management Proficient in construction documentation and quality assurance Ability to manage project teams and consultant coordination Track record of managing project performance, budgets, and schedules Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills Experience with project management software and tools is advantageous
