Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in New
Orleans, LA, serving K-12 students in a contract role through the
current school year. This opportunity is primarily focused on
supporting elementary schools on the west bank, with a caseload
that includes children from kindergarten through 12th grade. The
role requires working onsite Monday through Friday, 7 hours per day
with a 30-minute unpaid lunch, aligned with the school calendar.
Key Responsibilities: Provide speech-language therapy services to
students demonstrating communication disorders. Develop
individualized treatment plans and track student progress.
Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to promote
student success. Maintain accurate and timely documentation and
reports. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings as needed.
Qualifications: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or
Communication Disorders. Active state licensure or eligibility for
licensure as an SLP in Louisiana. ASHA certification (CCC-SLP)
preferred. Experience working with school-age children,
particularly in elementary settings. Location: New Orleans, LA
(onsite services primarily at elementary schools on the west bank).
