School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1
years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A K-12 school
in New Orleans, LA is seeking four full-time School Psychologists
for a contract position from ASAP through May 22, 2026. This
opportunity is ideal for professionals holding an active Louisiana
DOE certification who are experienced in supporting diverse student
populations in school settings. Responsibilities include: -
Providing psychological assessments and evaluations for students
across K-12 grade levels - Collaborating with educators,
administrators, and families to develop and implement
individualized education plans (IEPs) - Offering counseling and
consultation services to support student mental health and academic
success - Assisting with behavioral interventions and crisis
management in accordance with school policies - Complying with
district-mandated procedures including drug screening and
fingerprinting Qualifications and requirements: - Active Louisiana
DOE School Psychologist certification is mandatory - Proven ability
to manage caseloads effectively within a school environment -
Excellent communication skills for working with students, staff,
and families - Compliance with district-specific credentialing and
background check processes - Availability for full-time, onsite
work aligned with the school calendar (35 hours per week, Monday
through Friday) This role offers the chance for a quick hiring
process with interviews typically scheduled within 24 hours of
application submission and swift decision-making. The position
includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch each day and assignments to be
determined within multiple school sites. This contract position
