Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the
2026-2027 school year, located in Metairie, LA. This role offers a
rewarding opportunity to provide speech-language services to a
diverse group of students from kindergarten through 12th grade. The
position is on a contract basis, with a focus on supporting
pediatric populations within the school setting. Key
Responsibilities: - Deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy
services to students with a caseload of approximately 35-40
children. - Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
tailored to student needs. - Collaborate with teachers, parents,
and other educational professionals to support student progress. -
Monitor and document student performance and adjust therapy goals
accordingly. - Participate in team meetings and contribute to the
development of supportive educational plans. Desired Qualifications
and Experience: - Valid Speech-Language Pathology credentials with
CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence). - Experience in pediatric
speech-language pathology within schools. - Knowledge of strategies
and techniques appropriate for K-12 students. - Strong
communication and organizational skills. - Ability to manage a
caseload effectively while providing high-quality care. Schedule
and Location: - Four days per week preferred, with consideration
for candidates seeking a five-day schedule. - Monday through Friday
schedule, full-time. - Position based in Metairie, LA. This
contract role is ideal for SLPs passionate about making a
