H&H has an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer to work on-site in our New Orleans, LA Office.Essential Roles & Responsibilities:Play a supportive yet key role with senior engineers in developing both fixed and moveable bridges.Some responsibilities include:Create basic designs under the direction of the senior engineer and/or senior designer, and perform CAD/BIM drafting for various projects and project sizes to begin understanding architectural engineering design and documentation.Coordination with the designs of other trades (architectural and engineering / internal and external) under the guidance of more senior technical staffSupport the design and engineering efforts of systems for new installations, system retrofits, system replacement and system upgrades for a wide variety of projects and project types.Learn drawing organization and company standards.Attend the HHU Programs for continuing education seminars on technical and professional enhancing topics.QualificationsBS in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering TechnologyBS + 0-2 years of work experience. Engineer Intern (FE) Certification preferred.Familiar with developing tests.
