company, is seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to support
ATS and our government customer in New Orleans, LA. This is a
remote opportunity.

Position Overview:
The Azure Cloud Engineer III is primarily responsible for providing
day-to-day administration and support on our Enterprise Support
Team and our Azure customers. This position will work on resolving
technical problems, perform maintenance related tasks, resolve
security alerts, and perform all administration tasks within Azure
and IAAS environments. This position will manage and maintain IAAS
and DevOps environments and assist customers through their Digital
Transformation initiatives converting web hosting from legacy
hosted websites to serverless technologies and
Infrastructure-as-Code while maintaining cost optimization and
security best practices.
Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are
not limited to:
Evaluate environment for process improvement and make
recommendations collaborate and communicate with other team members
to provide good service and issue resolution.
Architect, design, develop and implement Cloud solutions in
Microsoft Azure encompassing multiple specializations, platforms,
and technologies
Providing Cloud consultation for MSP Clients
Create automated approaches and scripts for system administration
tasks where possible and appropriate
Develop, support, and document automated build and configuration
management processes
Optimizing Intune and autopilot
Develop and implement conditional access
Manage PKI Certificates
Manage Azure Active directory
Troubleshooting, management, and remediation of Azure tickets with
a focus on Well architected framework
Regular review of cost optimization reports, make recommendations,
and implement optimization tasks following change management
processes
Implementation and regular review of Azure Advisor best practice
recommendations
Regular review of Azure Monitor analytics and logs
Set up best practice alerting within Azure and CloudCheckr
Day to Day management of Office 365
Deliver training on alert triage and remediation steps for the
24/7/365 NOC team and other Administrators and Engineers
Create and execute Change Management Requests following best
practice
Participate in RFO documentation
Previous experience with fast-paced consulting or MSP environment a
plus.
Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Minimum 2-4 years IT experience supporting the infrastructure of
Azure and IAAS environments
In depth knowledge of public cloud providers like AWS, Azure, or
other major vendors of public cloud
Strong knowledge of SAN and backup technologies
In depth knowledge of VMWare, Microsoft, HP, IBM, Cisco, VCE, Dell
Systems and other major vendors of infrastructure technology
Experience implementing Microsoft IaaS services in a variety of
distributed computing environments
Experience with JSON and PowerShell scripting
Understand the delineation between SysOps engineering and DevOps
engineering
Experience with supporting and troubleshooting of the below
technologies: Azure/O365, Azure Active Directory, Azure Databases
(Azure SQL, Azure MySQL), Azure DevOps, ASR, Azure Cost Management,
ATP, Azure Networking, Azure Storage, Compliance and Security, Duo,
and OKTA, Nutanix
Experience in managing, maintaining, and supporting core Microsoft
technologies and services, Windows Servers 2012 or above, Active
Directory, DNS, NPS, IIS, etc, Microsoft SQL Server
Extensive Experience managing Intune Services
Ability to track all work and documentation within a ticketing
system
Participate on on-call rotations
In depth knowledge of Veeam/Varonis/Druva
Ability to work weekends and/or off hours as necessary to meet
clients' needs
Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
Microsoft exam AZ-500
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in related field.
Working Environment & Conditions
This job operates in a professional office environment and has a
noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses
standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers,
filing cabinets and fax machines. This position is primarily
indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise
level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to
stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects,
tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The
workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of
time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math
calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress.The incumbent
must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision
abilities required by the job include close vision, distance
vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust
focus.
