Product Marketing Manager - Pre-Professional and Trades Passionate about crafting sales strategies, being a product expert and delighting customers, while never settling for second best? As the Product Marketing Manager at Cengage, you'll develop marketing and sales enablement campaigns crafted to drive sales, enhance the customer experience, and deepen usage to help faculty and students achieve their education goals. You'll also work with the faculty campaigns team to create compelling needs-based subject area, course and product positioning and messaging for target audiences and customer segments. You'll get things done-with high energy and positivity. Partnerships are key and you'll deploy your communication and collaboration skills to connect with customers and partner with the Product, Marketing, Technology and Sales teams to help bring their success to the next level. One of the best aspects of this role: The ample opportunity to help grow digital course material access and engagement as faculty see ways to digitally enhance their courses across the Healthcare subject area. What you'll do here: + Strategize with Product Marketers, Product Managers, Market Development and sales partners on key targets, opportunities and competitors + Partner with product teams to craft internal/external messaging about new and existing capabilities and features to tell a compelling story + Develop and promote customer-facing events and presentations to drive activations, sales conversions, and customer usage + Collaborate with Faculty Campaigns team to plan and implement business-driving marketing and sales enablement campaigns aligned to key priorities + Analyze your business and align marketing strategies to most important portfolio drivers + Compile analytics for sales and marketing campaigns and provide feedback to respective teams + Build relationships with key market influencers and advocates Skills you will need here: + Bachelor's degree, preferably in Marketing, Business, Sales or Communications + 2-3 years of Marketing or Sales experience + Superior presentation skills in person and in a virtual environment + Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work well with other team members, customers, sales, and stakeholders across the organization + Outgoing and positive with a focus on building and maintaining relationships + Self-starter with a sense of urgency + The creativity and ingenuity needed to create engaging content strategies + Passionate about digital education and customer outcomes + Experience working with a sales force a plus + Basic sales training video creation and editing skills a plus Cengage Group's Higher Education business, Cengage, supports learning and student success by providing materials and digital solutions to faculty and students enrolled in two-year, four-year and vocational programs.
