Job Title Associate Director of Housing Operations Location New Orleans, LA, US Organization Name Housing and Residence Life Posting Summary TheAssociate Director for Housing Operations is a critical position in theDepartment of Housing and Residence Life's central management team. Specifically,this position coordinates the delivery of services to students, parents, staff,faculty, and other University departments. This position is a 12-month fulltime position professional position in the Department of Housing and ResidenceLife. This position reports directly to the Director for Housing Operations. The Associate Director serves as a member of the Departmentof Residence Life central office management team. This position overseesmarketing and communications for housing and summer conferences. This positionstrategically develops an on-going plan to meet the occupancy targets forhousing. TheDepartment of Housing and Residence Life at Tulane University provides housing,programming, and related services for approximately 4200 students who reside intraditional style and apartment style residence halls. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - Demonstrated commitment to personal and departmental development, professionalism, multicultural education, creativity, collaboration, and initiative. - Ability to multi-task, prioritize work assignments, and achieve quality outcomes. - Excellent verbal, oral and written communication skills. - Solid analytical skills and attention to detail. - Demonstration of excellence in customer service. Required Education and/or Experience - Bachelor's Degree with 3 years of related experience in housing operations management OR - High School Diploma (or Equivalent) with 9 years of related experience in housing operations management Preferred Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree in Higher Education Administration, Student Personnel, Business Administration, Management, or related field - Experience working in a higher education setting - Outcomes oriented planning. - Experience developing marketing plans and communication streams for targeted audiences. - Financial modeling experience related to occupancy management.
