Job Description:

Arcosa Aggregates is searching for an Area Dredge Operations Manager for our Gulf Region East, servicing Louisiana and Mississippi. In this role you will support a positive safety culture by directing the activities and staff within a dredge environment that is regulated by MSHA safety standards. As a Regional Operations Manager, you will oversee plant managers and employees to ensure efficiency and quality are met in the production of aggregates.Arcosa Aggregates is a leading producer and distributor in the Western and Southwestern U.S. of lightweight and natural aggregates, including expanded shale and clay, crushed stone, sand and gravel, asphalt rock, and other products.
What you'll do:

• Comply with all industry safety rules, procedures and applicable government regulations
• Develop and implement procedures and strategies to ensure a positive safe work culture.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, and best practices including those related to safety, health and environmental
• Collaborate with plant managers to coordinate and achieve the company objectives.
• Identify and correct problems and inefficiencies in process, materials, equipment, or skills.
• Collaborate with other managers to develop and execute budgets.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
  What you'll need:
  • Prompt, regular and predictable attendance
  • The ability to stand, stoop, bend, lift, walk, climb stairs, ladders and catwalks up to 60 feet as required and lift weights upto 60 pounds.
    • The ability to work in a varied outdoor environment (cold, hot, dry, dusty, rainy)
    • Willingness to travel with flexibility in work hours including nights and weekends
    • Confident and strong supervisory and leadership skills.
    • Thorough knowledge of MSHA regulations, safety compliance and environmental regulations and policies.
    • Extensive experience and knowledge of Dredge Operations
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to read and understand financial statements.
    • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
    • Thorough understanding of raw materials, production processes, quality control, cost management, and other effective distribution techniques.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
    • Ability to communicate with all levels of management.
    • At least five years of supervisory experience highly preferred.
      • Associate degree in related field, or equivalent industry work experience required; Bachelor's degree in Management, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred.
