Business Development Manager
Job DescriptionThe Business Development Manager position is
responsible for the development and execution of commercial sales
for cleaning services in healthcare and other businesses. This
includes lead generation and prospecting through cold calls,
visits, referrals, setting all meetings and reaching key
decision-makers, preparing, and making presentations, project
scoping, estimating, closing sales and on-going customer service
and account management. The position requires the ability to
self-starting and work independently. The position reports to the
CEO.
Responsibilities:Prospecting and lead generation through cold
calling and visitsSetting initial and subsequent meetings with
prospects and clientsEstablishing personal contact and develop
rapport with clients' decision makersPerforming activities, making
presentations and effectively negotiating contractsFollowing-up
with prospects through the sales processScoping projects and
estimatingMaintaining accounts and continued relationships with
clients through customer service and quality assurance
visitsMaintaining a robust CRM platformProjecting expected sales
volume and profitForecasting and developing annual, quarterly and
monthly sales quotas for assigned territoriesStaying up to date
with supply and demand trends, economic indicators, and competitor
landscapeDeveloping sales objectives, policies, and
proceduresDeveloping specific, measurable plans for revenue
growthInterpreting and assessing short- and long-term effects on
sales strategyEstablishing and maintaining a consistent corporate
image
ExperienceBachelor's Degree and at least 1+ years of proven outside
sales success (entry level will be considered), preferably with
experience in the service sector.
SkillsOutstanding verbal and writing skills; Exceptional
presentation skills; Organizational skills; Strong competitive
spirit; Ability to work under pressure; Leadership qualities such
as work ethic, trustworthiness, self-confidence, and the ability to
delegate; Problem solving and analytical skills; Experience with
CRM platforms, preferably SalesForce, and MS Office
Valid Driver's License required; a clean driving record and
dependable transportation is required
