About this role: The Director of Accounting will be responsible for overseeing Payroll Accounting for all Collegiate Academies teammates. Success in this role will help to ensure that teammates have the financial security to achieve our ambitious mission, as well as ensuring that Collegiate Academies' financial management is sound and rigorous.This position requires a deep attention to detail, an ability to meet hard deadlines, a desire to be part of a growing organization, and thorough knowledge of basic accounting principles and procedures. A successful candidate will be excited about executing and refining our accounting and payroll systems to allow our schools to have unprecedented focus on students, because a financial worry never crosses their mind.About Collegiate Academies: Collegiate Academies prepares all students for lives of unlimited opportunity. Founded in 2008, Collegiate Academies serves over 3,000 students in five public high schools and two postsecondary programs in New Orleans and Baton Rouge.
