We currently have a client in New Orleans, LA looking for a Pharmacist (Traveling Pharmacist)Focus Staff is seeking a traveling Certified Pharmacist which will require the verification and approval of prescriptions, supervising pharmacy technicians, pharmacy interns, and cashiers. We expect all our staff pharmacists to implement company initiatives to increase productivity and uphold operational standards including performance metrics, safety, and compliance.Contract Assignment - 13 Weeks (Temporary)Shift: 3x12 DaysRewards: (Pharmacist)

    • Verification of medication and treatment orders
    • Screening for interactions, allergies, and appropriate medication therapy
    • Consulting with prescribers and nurses at the facilities we service
    • Entering and verifying IV/TPN orders
    • Final reviewing prescription orders
    • Communication with managers, co-workers, and account representatives
