  Cath Lab nurses are experts at providing compassionate care and preparing patients undergoing various cardiac procedures such as catheterization and angioplasty. They have high-level critical thinking skills, vast clinical knowledge, and are able to stay calm under pressure.

  About the Cath Lab :
  
  
  • 
    
  • This position is a 13-week temporary assignment
    
  • Opportunity to earn $75/hour plus shift differentials!
    
  • Procedures done in the cath lab range from but are not limited to diagnostic heart caths, interventional heart caths, TAVR, TMVR, watchman and cardiomems
    
  • Opportunity to perform interventional procedures with Tulane's award winning Cardiovascular Services team

    Responsibilities:
    
    
    
  • Under the general direction of the Director, Manager or Nurse Manager,- Registered Nurse-(RN) coordinates and provides patient care and assumes individual responsibility and accountability for the provision of nursing care.-

    Qualifications
    - Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing- --
    
    - Current Louisiana or Compact RN license required
    
    - Excellent interpersonal and team skills required. Basic computer knowledge preferred
    
    - Previous cardiovascular cath lab experience preferred
    
    - Basic equipment and machine skills preferred
