NOTE:# The below job description is intended to describe the general nature and level of the work being performed by people assigned to this work.# This is not an exhaustive list of all duties and responsibilities.# LCMC/NOEH reserves the right to amend and change responsibilities to meet organizational needs as necessary. # Job Summary: The purpose of this job is to perform the scheduling process timely for all patients, including scheduling the patient for clinical service, obtaining demographic and primary/secondary insurance information, verifying primary/secondary insurance in advance of the scheduled service, and calculating the patient#s upfront deposit amount. Minimum Requirements: 2 years experience working in hospital access, physician office or billing and collections or other business clerical High School Diploma or equivalent Perform daily functions in MS Office, Excel, Word and Outlook Excellent customer service # communication skills with patients.
