In order to treat the most critical patients in the most thorough manner, critical care nurses use their specialized skills and extensive knowledge of disease pathology to provide interventions that sustain life. About this unit: \t\t 12-bed Intensive Care Unit\t\t\t Amazing teamwork throughout all levels - Physicians, Leadership, RNs, PCTs.\t\t\t Patient safety and satisfaction are our number one priority\t \t Responsibilities:\t\t\t The Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse provides patient care through utilization of the nursing process. The nursing process is demonstrated by the staff registered nurse's ability to work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary health care team in planning, directing, implementing, and evaluating patient care. May supervise RN's, LPN's, technicians, unit secretaries, nursing students, and nursing assistants.\t What Qualifications You Will Need\tCurrent RN License or compact license in the State of Louisiana; Bachelor's Degree or Nurse Diploma\tICU experience\tCurrent Basic Life Support\tCurrent ACLS\t\t Current NCI\t Lakeview Regional Medical Center is a full service, acute care hospital providing inpatient and outpatient healthcare services to St. Tammany Parish residents since 1977.
