Job Description:
Summary
Under the supervision of the Chief Operating Officer, he/she
isresponsible for obtaining accurate patient demographics and
insuranceinformation during the patient interview process; the
process includesin-person, and phone interviews, corrects
information as needed. Processes theregistration including
obtaining the patients signature on the Authorizationfor Treatment,
Advanced Beneficiary Notice (ABN) and completing the
MedicareSecondary Payer (MSP) questionnaire. Collects co-payments,
estimatedco-insurance and deductibles, which includes phone calls
to patients to discussfinancial responsibility prior to service as
well as collecting at time ofservice. Answers incoming phone calls
and assist caller as needed. And anyother duties assigned by the
Chief Operating Officer.
