VISTA is assisting a large Geriatric Care group in Louisiana with their search for physicians for locums coverage. They will accept Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric specialists. This client rarely has locums opportunities, so please take advantage and apply today! This is a coastal town with endless restaurants, outdoor activities, shopping, and night life. JOB DETAILS: Location- New Orleans NO FLOATING, will work at one site Schedule- M-F, 730A-5:00P with 80 minute lunch Caseload- 18-22 PPD (3 are walk ins) NO Call in traditional sense. Every doc is given a work cell and laptop, and can expect their patients to have that cell #, avg of 3 texts and a phone call per week BC in FP/IM/GERI, no others will be accepted Skills- Must be able to manage highly acute cases, tech savvy, experienced and driven, EMR experience a MUST. Site details- Onsite labs, xray, and pharmacy License- State license required Additional Certs- BLS, DEA COVID Vaccine- Required, exemptions for religion and medical are acceptable, please note in PRE Cred Priv- Can be done in 1 week, no hospital privs required.
