Additional Info: Join our Section of Medical Genetics in the Department of Pediatrics.- Will work closely with our second geneticist, 3 genetic counselors with more in recruitment, and an experienced group of nurses.- Expertise in the evaluation, diagnosis, and ongoing care of patients with a variety of genetic disorders, including congenital anomalies, congenital heart disease, chromosomal disorders, autism, mitochondrial disease, and cancer, is desired.- The section also offers prenatal genetic counseling as well as newborn screening. - Provide inpatient and outpatient consultative care for children with known or suspected genetic conditions- Teach medical students, residents, and allied health students- Collaborate with institutional stakeholders to drive Pediatric Precision Medicine initiatives, as part of Ochsners commitment to being the regional leader in genomics and precision medicine.
