Job Description & Requirements Specialty: MRI Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel \n Job Description\n American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for night shifts with required ARRT(MR) certification and Siemen's MRI experience. \n \n Responsibilities\n Position is in an MRI unit of a hospital setting Scheduled for night shifts including 3x12 hour or 4x10 hour rotations covering Thursday to Wednesday Uses Siemens MRI equipment, and experience with this system is required Patient care is provided during overnight hours, including weekends Assignment may require participation in an Emergency Team during hurricane season, including remaining at the facility during storms Orientation is provided five days a week and includes completion of online modules Two Manager or Supervisor references will be needed for clearance before starting the contract Resources previously employed as staff or agency at this health system must have a one-year separation before returning as travelers Requests for time off must be documented and discussed during the interview Local candidates are not accepted for this assignment \n \n Requirements\n Current ARRT(MR) certification required Minimum of 2 years MRI experience; 3 years required for New Orleans operating room assignments Experience with Siemens MRI equipment is required AHA certifications required Must have a Compact or Louisiana state license upon consideration Must live over 65 miles from the facility as indicated on driver's license Must apply for Allied Health licensure within 72 hours of signing if applicable \n Benefits\n High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts \n American Traveler Job ID P-614941.
