Job Description & Requirements Specialty: MRI Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 12/08/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel \n Job Description\n American Traveler seeks an experienced MRI Technologist with 1 year of MRI experience, BLS and ARRT or ARMRIT certification for a rotating day shift assignment. \n \n Responsibilities\n Work in a pediatric hospital MRI department Rotating day shifts include 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM, 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM, and 8:30 AM – 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday Rotating off days and weekly call required, with call rotation Wednesday–Wednesday and some weekend coverage required EMR utilized is Epic and experience with Epic is required May work with level I and II trauma patients Scrub color of choice is permitted Modules are completed pre-start and vary by specialty Up to 5 days of requested time off (RTO) may be considered Candidates must live more than 75 miles from the facility for travel eligibility Returning permanent employees must have been separated from any facility within the system for at least 1 year to be eligible \n \n Requirements\n Minimum 1 year of MRI technologist experience required Current BLS certification required Must hold ARRT (R) or ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification Epic experience required License required if applicable; valid Louisiana state license required at time of consideration Congenital cardiac scanning experience preferred but not required Level I and II trauma experience preferred First-time travelers will not be considered \n Benefits\n High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts \n American Traveler Job ID P-628422.
