Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: MRI Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 12/08/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler seeks an experienced MRI Technologist with 1 year of MRI experience, BLS and ARRT or ARMRIT certification for a rotating day shift assignment. Responsibilities - Work in a pediatric hospital MRI department - Rotating day shifts include 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM, 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM, and 8:30 AM – 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday - Rotating off days and weekly call required, with call rotation Wednesday–Wednesday and some weekend coverage required - EMR utilized is Epic and experience with Epic is required - May work with level I and II trauma patients - Scrub color of choice is permitted - Modules are completed pre-start and vary by specialty - Up to 5 days of requested time off (RTO) may be considered - Candidates must live more than 75 miles from the facility for travel eligibility - Returning permanent employees must have been separated from any facility within the system for at least 1 year to be eligible Requirements - Minimum 1 year of MRI technologist experience required - Current BLS certification required - Must hold ARRT (R) or ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification - Epic experience required - License required if applicable; valid Louisiana state license required at time of consideration - Congenital cardiac scanning experience preferred but not required - Level I and II trauma experience preferred - First-time travelers will not be considered Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-628422.
