Endocrinology Opportunity in New Orleans, Louisiana Join a hospital-connected endocrinology practice in the New Orleans metro area with a steady referral base and balanced schedule. This outpatient-focused position offers strong support, minimal call, and immediate volume, ideal for physicians who want to focus on high-quality patient care while enjoying a vibrant, culturally rich lifestyle. Practice Overview - You’ll join a team of 2 endocrinologists and 2 APPs, supported by MAs, LPNs, and an embedded dietician - 100% adult endocrinology with broad case mix: diabetes, thyroid, adrenal, osteoporosis, obesity, and more - Brand-new clinic located in the medical tower attached to a community hospital - Inpatient consults shared across team; no procedures required Schedule - 4.5 clinic days and 0.5 admin day per week - Clinic hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM - 50 patient visits per week on average; 30-minute new and 15-minute follow-up visits - Shared call rotation, low volume and mostly phone-based Compensation & Benefits - Base salary plus $50 per wRVU; expected annual volume of 6,100 wRVUs - Signing bonus and relocation assistance included - Full benefits: medical, dental, vision, retirement, malpractice (no tail) - CME time and allowance included; no non-compete clause Candidate Requirements - Board-certified or board-eligible in Endocrinology - Eligible for medical licensure in Louisiana - Comfortable managing CGMs, insulin pumps, and broad endocrine conditions - J-1 and H-1B visa sponsorship available Community & Location Highlights - Clinic located in Marrero, just minutes from downtown New Orleans - Access to New Orleans’ food, music, art, and historic neighborhoods - Excellent private and parochial schools nearby; family-friendly suburban living - Affordable housing and proximity to Gulf Coast outdoor recreation Let’s talk about how this opportunity can help you achieve your professional and personal goals.
