Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty:
Telemetry Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift:
12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years in specialty License: Compact
or state license in hand upon submission Certifications: BLS,
NIHSS, ACLS preferred Must-Have: Telemetry/Medsurg experience of
over 1 year. Experience with cardiac drips and EKG. Familiarity
with Epic charting system. Description: Please ensure you
understand the expectation to stay at the facility during emergency
events and to report as assigned by your unit manager if required.
The patient ratios are 1:5 for days and 1:6 for nights. Weekend
coverage is required every other weekend. You must have experience
in accessing/managing ports, blood product administration, cardiac
telemetry, central line care/management, feeding tube care and
management, heparin protocols, and interpretation of dysrhythmias.
Isolation precautions and management of cardiac drips without
titration are essential skills. You will also be responsible for
PCA, peripheral line care/management, PICC line management, and
starting and maintaining IVs. You will work with adult and
geriatric populations. The unit has 50 beds and provides
interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory
services, social services, and pharmacy. References will be
required to obtain clearance to start the contract. This role
requires the ability to work as part of a team and to deliver
high-quality patient care. Ensure all certifications are current
