year of experience as an ASL Interpreter in educational settings.

considered. A 1099 contract opportunity is available for a skilled
Sign Language Interpreter specializing in telehealth services
within a school setting. This position requires expertise in
American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation, with a focus on
facilitating communication through remote platforms to support
students and staff effectively. Location: Ocean Springs, MS
Responsibilities: Provide accurate and professional sign language
interpretation during telehealth sessions. Ensure clear
communication between students, educators, and healthcare
providers. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all relevant
standards and protocols. Prepare for sessions by reviewing relevant
materials and coordinating with telehealth personnel. Adapt
interpreting services to meet individual communication needs in a
virtual environment. Qualifications: Proficiency in American Sign
Language with interpreting experience. Familiarity with telehealth
technology and remote communication tools. Ability to interpret in
educational settings, with a strong understanding of school-related
terminology. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Reliability and ability to manage a contract-based schedule
independently. Prior experience in telehealth interpretation is
preferred. Contract Details: 1099 independent contractor status.
