We are searching for a Busser/Food Runner for our lobby bar and
restaurant! Are you passionate about food, beverage and

Situated at the end of famed Canal Street, The Westin New Orleans
offers stunning views of the mighty Mississippi River and the
French Quarter. Guests are just steps from the Shops at Canal Place
and Harrah's Casino and a short walk to the excitement of Bourbon
Street and the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. The hotel
features 462 rooms and suites, including a Presidential Suite, with
Westin's signature Heavenly-- bedding, 34,000-sq-ft of event space,
a fully equipped WestinWORKOUT fitness center, a lobby bar
Observatory 11 with the best view of the French Quarter anywhere,
and a new restaurant Bistro at the Bend.
The Bus Person is responsible for assisting the servers in
providing the highest quality service possible to guests while
maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation
throughout the hours of operation. The Bus Person must insure that
all tables are kept clean and presentable with clean china,
glassware, silverware and linen.
- Keep all work areas clean and properly stocked according to the
current meal period.
- Keep all tables cleaned and properly set according to property
- Break down trays of soiled dishes and linen in the dish room area
according to established standards.
- Assist servers by delivering and refilling beverages, pre-bussing
tables, and promptly resolving any guest requests.
- Complete daily opening and closing duties and cleaning according
to established side-work checklist.
- Provide service to guests in waiter's absence as needed.
- Maintain beverage levels in glasses/cups on table at least --
full at all times. (coffee, tea, soda, lemonade, and water).
- Run food from kitchen.
