Job Description Division: [[Gulf States]] Department : [[Human Resources]] Job Location : [[New Orleans]] Other Potential Locations : [[None]] Summary Job Statement CCBCU primary responsibility of the Human Resources Coordinator is for assisting the human resources employee relations manager and the recruiter by providing excellent human resources support to the recruiting area. Assists with various human resources and general office functions that require an understanding of human resources concepts and good business practices: Responsibilities - Assists with various phases of recruitment and new hire orientation. - Maintains the ID badge system and prints badges. - Assist employees with electronic self-service transactions (ESS). Responds to employee inquiries regarding policies and company programs. - Provides assistance to supervisors and managers for payroll corrections and changes and additional MSS transactions. - Distributes announcements and maintains bulletin boards and government compliance postings. - Maintains personnel files and maintains current, accurate data in the company's HR information system (HRIS). - Assists with the coordination and communication of employee events and HR initiatives. - Accurately maintains data and compiles reports that contain confidential information. - Provides employment verification. - Conducts New Hire Orientation. - Other duties may be assigned. Minimum Qualifications/Requirements - Three years' experience working in human resources is required. - One year certificate from college or technical school; and 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. - Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. - Ability to define problems, collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. - Knowledgeable of SAP Human Resources & Payroll systems. - Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word). - Ability to maintain confidentiality and build trusting relationships is required. - Ability to meet deadlines. - Experience with payroll is preferred. - Minimal travel to company sites in South Louisiana is required. - Must have current, valid driver's license.
