We are seeking a dynamic and skilled National Sales Director to
join our team in New Orleans, LA. This is a Business Unit Leader
Three primary responsibilities:
Build and ensure appropriate number of Contacts and Leads in
Push Opportunities through sales pipeline / CRM
Build Consensus of opinion throughout the organization and
across business units
The National Sales Director is responsible for identifying,
implementing, and managing industry best practices across the
Solomon Group’s customer-facing functions – Business Development,
Account Management, Creative, and Marketing. More specifically, the
National Sales Director will optimize Solomon Group’s direct and
indirect sales channels to sustain market share leadership and
above market growth rates in North America. The National Sales
Director will also work to increase brand awareness and
partnerships with clients to ensure the company is delivering class
leading and innovative solutions.
The National Sales Director is a critical role that requires
both strategic and executional leadership to ensure that Customer
Success processes support the company’s overall strategic goals.
They should be a passionate and creative leader who has
successfully implemented creative ideas to achieve superior
business results. They should possess an entrepreneurial spirit
with a hunger for growth that will thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic

client roster and pipeline of projects to qualify, bid, win, and
Ensure appropriate Account Management functions to ensure
clients’ needs are served and company risks are protected.
Determine total volume of targeted companies and contacts needed
in pipeline and internal resources needed in order to accomplish
targeted sales goals.
Optimize (and be accountable for) the short and long-term
revenue potential of each customer relationship.
Improve customer experience, team efficiency, processes, and
practices across all customer-facing function to enhance
Benchmark key metrics and direct the collection of data to
Develop and manage the annual operating and capital budgets for
Hire, train, and motivate customer-facing staff to be a high
performing, customer-focused team.
Conduct, analyze, and report on client satisfaction, creating a
satisfaction/scoring system to monitor ongoing performance to
ensure that Solomon Group is surpassing clients’ expectations.
Manage team performance so that dashboard of key performance
indicators (KPIs) regarding account/opportunity successes is
appropriate and in line with expectations.

IDEAL EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree (Business, Marketing, or a related field); MBA
10+ years of experience of sales and marketing management
experience, including a minimum of 5 years in a Sales/Customer
Success leadership role.
Experience in Entertainment, Live Events, and Exhibits &
Environments industries are preferred.
Experience recruiting, mentoring, and managing a Customer
Success team with average project size in excess of $200k and
Client Account in excess of $1m.
Ability to plan and manage at both strategic and operational
Strong understanding of financial projection principles.
Strong executive presence with demonstrated ability to cultivate
and maintain long-term, collaborative relationships with key
stakeholders to achieve mutual goals
Must be able to handle aggressive deadlines, work
cross-functionally and prioritize work in a fast-paced
Must have an entrepreneurial nature and be highly adaptable and
