Any state license in good standing can be accepted, Gubernatorial
permit allows the hospitals to grant you privileges without a
Louisiana license. Intensivist (Must have PUD/CCM fellowship) locum
tenens opportunity in Louisiana--- -Location: New Orleans,
Louisiana -Duration: October 2020 and ongoing. 1-2 weeks a month,
per your availability. -Schedule: Mon-Sun from 7 am to 5 pm
(in-house) with phone consults 5 pm to 7 pm. Night coverage is
provided by the eICU. -Scope: ICU coverage, manage patients in ICU
with Hospital Medicine as requested; Pulmonary Consults for
inpatient services. No outpatient responsibilities. -Patients: 6-8
patients in ICU and 4-6 non-ICU Pulmonary patients -Hospital: 180
beds, Short Term Acute Care, part of large not-for-profit health
system with many locations in Louisiana. -Expedited Credentialing:
Can credential in 5 days. -Requirement: Pulmonary Medicine and
Critical Care trained and Board Certified or Eligible. *Travel,
Accommodations, and Malpractice - PAID for locum opportunities*
