The division of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition at Ochsner Hospital for Children is seeking a board eligible/board certified pediatric gastroenterologist with training in neurogastroenterology and motility to join our rapidly growing team.
The successful candidate will be proficient in the care of children with pediatric motility conditions, including performing and interpreting studies such as manometry, pH, and impedance. Experience in clinical program development and quality improvement are desirable, as is a track record of collaboration and clinical excellence.
Ochsner Hospital for Children serves patients across the Gulf South with clinics at the Jefferson Highway campus in New Orleans, as well as satellite clinics throughout Louisiana and Mississippi. The division presently leads or collaborates in specialty programs in pediatric advanced endoscopy, pancreatology, hepatology and liver transplantation, aerodigestive disorders, inflammatory bowel disease, pediatric feeding disorders and a colorectal clinic. Ochsner Hospital for Children has a 33 pediatric bed unit, along with a 14 bed PICU, 12 bed CVICU, and 54 Level IV NICU beds. Ochsner sponsors the combined Tulane-Ochsner pediatric residency program and teaches medical school students from Tulane aswell as the University of Queensland.
