The Off-Premise Sales Support is directly accountable for all operational aspects of Guest Take Out and Delivery orders (e.g., Guest service during the order process, proper order fulfillment and packaging, payment, etc.), coordination and assurance of accuracy with 3rd party delivery partners (e.g., DoorDash, Uber Eats, Postmates, Caviar, etc.), off-premise catering, drop-off lunches, and other off-premise options that emerge. This position maintains the highest quality Guest Experience through a dedication to excellence in food, beverage and service standards, cleanliness, sanitation and safety. This job is eligible to receive tips and will tip out to any other roles supporting the TOaD business. ESSENTIAL TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: --- Executes off-premise sales in the restaurant by providing the highest levels of uncompromising quality of food, beverage, and service.--- Provides a seamless and indulgent Guest service experience for all off-premise dining experiences.--- Take orders through the phone and/or online tablets for all Take Out and Delivery orders, answering questions about menu items, making suggestions to enhance the off-premise dining experience, growing check and validating all orders with the Guest.--- Rings the orders into Micros, double-checking all special requests, and ensuring 100% order accuracy.--- Answers any questions from kitchen staff on special orders ensuring all orders are correct and as ordered by the Guest.--- Check all food orders handed off from back of house team for accuracy, addresses and fixes any issues with order, product quality or product packaging before handing off to Guest or delivery driver assuring an enhanced off-premise dining experience.--- Correctly presents the Take Out Guest check and executes payment for all food and beverages sold.--- Upsells wine or other beverages to enhance the dining experience, as allowed by state and local laws.--- Addresses any Take Out Guest complaints and maintenance of online delivery reviews.--- Engages with Take Out and Delivery Guests to identify additional opportunities for off-premise dining experiences such as catering events, business lunches off-premise, private wine dinners, and other off-premise dining experiences.--- Coordinates Take Out and Delivery orders with bar team and Hosts to ensure all orders are taken in a timely manner.--- Coordinates the execution of orders placed through various on-line ordering programs and partners (e.g., DoorDash, Uber Eats, Postmates, Caviar, etc.).--- Executes the Sides-to-Go promotions during holiday periods or times where applicable, ensuring 100% Guest satisfaction and growing the business year over year.--- Serves as Host at the front door, greeting Guests, enforcing social distancing requirement, and seating Guests as needed during the shift.--- Follows all national, state, and local safety, health, and sanitation guidelines as specified by the restaurant.--- Supports other Front-of-House positions as needed, providing a seamless Guest experience to all Guests.--- Performs all duties and maintains knowledge of all standards and procedures, as stated in the RCSH Employee Training Packet -Off-Premise Sales Support.COMPETENCIES/PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS: Guest First Mindset --- and demonstrate effective verbal and written communication with Guests, Team Members, various business departments, and vendors--- Excellent customer service skills and a strong work ethic--- Organization, planning, and time management skills with the ability and initiative to react effectively and quickly to unexpected circumstances--- Ability to read and understand financial data--- Ability to build positive working relationships and provide clear direction and feedback--- Ability to diplomatically deal with difficult situations and people, while exhibiting a consistent level of professionalism--- Handle stress associated with responding to/solving problems--- Always present a neat professional appearance and demeanor--- Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook--- Accurately complete paperwork and reportsEDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE: --- A minimum of one (1) year of restaurant/hospitality experience required--- High School Diploma or G.E.D. requiredPHYSICAL DEMANDS: --- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, walk, talk, and hear--- Must be able to constantly stand and walk for extended periods of time, at least 8 hours, and traverse all parts of the restaurant quickly--- Must be able to lift, handle, and carry (e.g. food, small wares, equipment, supplies and paper goods) at a minimum of 25 pounds constantly, and up to 50 pounds occasionally--- Must be able to bend, kneel, stoop, reach, and squat on a frequent basis--- Must be able to perform work on a computer in addition to completing paperworkWORK ENVIRONMENT: --- Work is performed in a restaurant--- Shifts are typically 6-8 hours--- Must be able to work around changing of schedules, which includes being available to work throughout the day, nights, weekends, and holidays, as required--- Must be able to work in an environment subject to loud noises from restaurant equipment and machinery, fumes, odors, dust and smoke--- Temperature extremes range from working near 1800-degree Fahrenheit to working in a walk-in freezer of -10-degree FahrenheitNOTE: The information here does not constitute a
