JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Summary of the Job:
Provides occupational therapy to Home Health/Hospice patients in
accordance with currently approved methods and standards of
practice of the occupational therapy profession.
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited institution by the
Council of Medical Education of the American Medical
Have licensure by examination or reciprocity by the LA state
board of Medical Examiners to practice Occupational Therapy in the
state of Louisiana.
Acute Medical/Surgical Inpatient, Inpatient Rehabilitation,
and/or Outpatient Rehabilitation experience required.
Must have 2 years of clinical experience.
Have knowledge of all rehabilitative techniques and procedures,
including knowledge of occupational therapy equipment, operation
- Current BLS certifications through any International Liaison
Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR) provided courses such as but not
limited to: Ochsner Health System, American Heart Association, and

This position requires driving a hospital-owned vehicle and/or a
personally owned vehicle to perform the essential job duties. In

Must maintain and provide proof of automobile insurance (at

Must possess good physical health. Some requirements include but
