Email Customer Service Representative Work From HomeStatus: Remote, W-9 (Independent Contractor)Being an Email Customer Service Representative:As a Customer Service Representative, youll be assisting customers of a fast-growing, certified cruelty-free beauty and skincare products company. Youll be the face of the brand, communicating with customers via email.Youll be assisting customers with a variety of different support needs, including returns, exchanges, order status inquiries, change order requests, and replacement orders.This remote, flexible opportunity pays independent contractors $10/hour.This is a short-term contract that is planned to run from November to January, making it an excellent opportunity for someone that is looking to earn extra cash for the holiday season! Its remote and flexible.Youll be supporting customers and making money from the comfort of your own home.Plus, youll enjoy flexible scheduling, where you use a self-scheduling platform to select when you work and when you dont. Youll have the freedom to schedule around your own needs, the needs of your family, and the important events in your life.Hours of operation are 5:00 AM to 7:00 PM ET, Monday through Sunday. Youll choose your own schedule within those hours of operation.Please note that our third-party client requires that each independent contractor services a minimum of 20 -35 hours per week. If youd prefer to service fewer than 20-35 hours per week as an independent contractor, youre free to pursue a different opportunity within the NexRep Marketplace.Essential Functions:Work within multiple computer systems to answer customer emailsProvide excellent customer serviceAssist customers with return and exchange requestsProvide customers with order and shipping status updatesProcess change order requests and replacement ordersAnswer questions about the companys productsFollow policy and procedure guidelinesDocument information and outcomes as necessaryAbout You:Some prior customer care experience is required. In addition, successful Email Customer Service Representatives have the following characteristics:Excellent written communication skillsAbility to multitaskPassionate about providing a great customer service experienceStrong computer skillsSelf-motivationStrong organization skillsReliabilityPunctualityTo be an Email Customer Service Representative, you will need a Windows PC. Macs cannot be used. You will need a computer and equipment meeting the following specifications, at a minimum:Internet: High-speed, hardwired internet (no Wi-Fi or satellite)Operating System: Windows 8.1 or Windows 10Processor: Intel CoreMemory: 4GB of RAMBrowser: Google ChromeMonitor: Dual monitors, each capable of displaying at least 1024 x 768 pixelsSound: Sound card (standard on most computers)Virus Protection: Up-to-date anti-virus softwareHeadset: USB noise-canceling headsetWebcamNexRep contracts with people in 33 states. The only states we do not currently contract in are: AR, AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, IL, MA, MD, ME, MO, NJ, NY, OR, RI, VT, WA, and WI. We do not currently contract with anyone outside of the US.
