Job Description:

Job DescriptionUptown Nursing Facility located in Old Charity of School Building is seeking a Full-time MDS Nurse: Duties are as follows but not limited to;

Assist the Director of Nursing (DON) with ensuring that the documentation in the facility meets Federal, State, and Certification guidelines.
Coordinate the MDS process assuring the timeliness and completeness of the MDS and all Care Plans.
Responsible for the regulatory compliance and quality improvement efforts, in order to attain the appropriate Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement possible for each resident.
Implement and direct Medicare/Medicaid auditing and systems review of:
Admission prescreening and documentation requirements
Financial documentation requirements
ADL score tracking
Available to take calls
