Job Description:
The Endoscopy Technician is responsible for assisting with
endoscopic procedures and activities under the direct supervision
of an RN/LPN. The Endoscopy Technician assists in the care and
preparation of endoscopy patients. The Endoscopy Technician is
responsible for the care of technical equipment used in endoscopic
procedures. The Endoscopy Technician recognizes his/her personal
and legal limitations and seeks assistance and guidance

Certification with Louisiana Nurse Aide Registry or Successful
completion of Medical Assistant Training Program or Surgical Tech -
EligibleRelated Experience ( Specify months or years): Experience
in a hospital or endoscopy setting.
