Job Description:
HR Associate daily job duties and responsibilities include:
- Answering employee questions
- Processing incoming mail
- Creating and distributing documents
- Providing customer service to organization employees
- Maintaining computer systems by updating and entering data
- Compiling reports and preparing spreadsheetsRecruitment/New
Hire Process
- Assisting with background, reference checks & employment
verifications
- New Hire paperwork processing
- Orienting new employees to the organization (setting up a
designated log-in, workstation, email address, etc.)
- Serving as a point person for new employee questions
- Applicant tracking system- candidate contactPayroll and
Benefits Administration
- Assist with processing payroll, which includes ensuring
vacation and sick time are tracked in the system
- Participating in benefits tasks, such as claim resolutions,
reconciling benefits statements, and approving invoices for
paymentRecord Maintenance
- Maintaining current HR files and databases
- Updating and maintaining employee information, benefits,
employment status, and similar records
- Maintaining records related to, performance reviews,
disciplinary actions, status changes, etc.
- Performing file audits to ensure that all required employee
documentation is collected and maintained
