Summary
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for supporting
recruitment and human resources activities as assigned by the HR
Manager.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
---Career Fair Registrations;
---Administrative support for on-campus recruitment;
---Requisition postings at various educational institutions;
---Candidate contacts and application follow up for proper
submittal as assigned by the HR Manager;
---Interview scheduling as assigned by the HR Manager;
---Administrate pre-employment screening as assigned by the HR
Manager;
---Data entry into the HRIS system;
---New hire paperwork administration as assigned by the HR
Manager;
---Scanning of files
---Filing as necessary;
---Other Recruitment and Human Resources function administrative
tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
---High School diploma or the equivalent required;
---Bachelor's degree preferred;
---Requires a minimum of five (5) years' experience in an
administrative support role or two (2) years' experience in an
administrative support role with duties directly related to
position;
---Experience requirements may be waived or reduced with a BA in a
directly related field;
---Requires strong verbal and written communication skills;
---Requires strong customer service orientation;
---Requires strong ability to take verbal instruction;
---Strong Microsoft Office skills (Microsoft Word in required and
Teams preferred);
---Experience with educational recruiting systems such as Handshake
a plus.
Working Conditions:
---Forty-hour workweek, M-Thurs 7:30-5:30 in office; flexible
schedule with core hours may be discussed, Friday 7:30-11:30 work
from home;
---Work is primarily conducted in an office environment (Private or
Semi-Private office) but may require occasional travel to off-site
work locations;
---Interaction with other team members, as well as supervisors and
client personnel;
---May be required to travel out of town on a periodic basis.
Physical Requirements (With or without Reasonable
Accommodation):
---Must be able to lift and carry ordinary business items estimated
at five (5) pounds;
---Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing or other communication
capabilities which permits employee to communicate effectively;
---Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time;
---Sufficient vision or other powers of observation which permits
employee to conduct analysis and investigations;
---Sufficient manual dexterity which permit the employee to perform
routine office duties;
---Sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes to perform
office duties and travel when necessary to off-site locations.
