As one of our Mental Health Providers, you are responsible for the complete patient customer experience. This position reports to the Licensed Social Worker assigned to them. Under general supervision, this position is responsible for ensuring seamless care for patients by acting as liaison between patients and physicians. MHP collaborates with a multidisciplinary team. It is the primary responsibility of the MHP to ensure that the most appropriate quality medical care is provided to members.Strong hospitality focus, organization, flexibility, time-management, and can-do attitude will provide day-to-day success. Rest assured we give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role. Qualifications: Mental Health Professional (MHP):

• Bilingual Spanish Speaker
• Bachelor's Degree in Social work required.
• Master's degree in a mental health related field (Preferred)
• 2-3yrs min experience in a health-related setting
• CPR certified.
• Crisis Intervention Certification
• Valid Driver's License, in good standing
• Car registration and insurance current
• 12hrs annual outside training per insurance requirements (employer covered)
• Proficient with computers
• Must have a computer and internet access. -Responsibilities:
  • Completes comprehensive psycho-social histories and Intake Assessments as assigned, meeting all compliance requirements for content and quality assurance.
  • Completes all compliance documentation, including but not limited to: Diagnostic Evaluations; Plan of Care Reviews; Master Treatment Plans; Suicide and Crisis Assessments and Planning; Urgent Coordination Notes; Mental Health Professional Progress Notes; and other documentation as required.
  • Responsible for the timely submission of all required compliance documentation
  • Provides direct services including Intake Assessments; Individual Therapy; Group Therapy; Collateral Intervention; Family Therapy; Crisis Stabilization / Intervention; Professional Intervention; Diagnostic Interpretation; and, other Medicaid or insurer authorized service codes.
  • Meets or exceeds minimum weekly established or revised production goals for reimbursable billing related to direct service provision.
  • Initiates and coordinates emergency hospitalization as required and coordination of follow up care
  • -Coordinates efforts to provide mental health services in conjunction with other providers.
  • Coordinates with the Clinical supervisor for client care relative to periodic consultation, annual review, medication management; and other matters
  • Maintains effective communication with clients, parents, guardians, and others involved in coordination of client care
  • Meets all regulatory and licensure requirements mandating availability for emergency services as needed.
  • Maintains consistent reporting to immediate supervisor.
  • Interfaces with departmental employees in the coordination of required documentation, communication, timelines, and other requirements
