• Certification Details
• Required Certifications: BLS, ARRT
• Always check Unit Description for required certifications when qualifying.
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support for specific units like Cath Lab, PCU, etc.
• BLS - Basic Life Support is not required for Medical Lab Tech, Med Tech, Clinical Lab Scientists.
• PALS, NRP, CHEMO, TNCC, EFM for specific qualifications.
• Tech Cert Verification - National, State License & NURSYS Verification requirements.
• NIH Stroke Certification, Certification (Miscellaneous).
• CPI - Crisis Prevention Institute and specifics on when to get CPI Blue Card.

  • Facility has all Philips CT scanners and prefer techs with experience using this equipment.

  • General Orientation: Thursday and Friday half of day then report to manager.

      • AWHONN Intermediate required for L&D.
      • Required within 30 days of start.
      • CPI Blue Card accepted ONLY. CPI may be completed onsite for candidates not already certified - must be complete within 30 days of start date. Cost is $50 cash or check.
      • Main CL to email PM directly after candidate has started assignment requesting candidate to be scheduled for CPI course. PM will notify CL once course is scheduled. Candidate will be emailed directly from facility with course information.
