We're looking for an enthusiastic & personable Event Outreach Coordinator in Gretna. This essential role in our Charity campaigns will directly involve you in engaging with the public, raising awareness for critical causes, & building lasting relationships within the community. As a Event Outreach Coordinator, you will immerse yourself in comprehensive training, learning effective strategies for public engagement & community development. You'll develop expertise in representing non-profit missions, educating diverse audiences about charitable programs, & identifying new opportunities for public involvement. Key Responsibilities of the Event Outreach Coordinator: Actively engage Gretna community members at public events and locations to build rapport and raise awareness for charity partners. Clearly and compellingly educate the public about Silver Lining Marketing's non-profit clients' missions, programs, and impact through stories and communication. Represent Silver Lining Marketing and non-profit clients professionally as a knowledgeable and passionate brand ambassador at all community interactions. Build and maintain relationships with community leaders, businesses, schools, and organizations to find partnership and outreach possibilities. Provide interested individuals with current and accurate informational materials like brochures, flyers, and program guides. Support planning, setup, and execution of community events, workshops, and informational sessions to engage the public and promote charitable causes. Collect community feedback and document observations to improve outreach and program development. Work with fundraising and sales to smoothly transition interested individuals and ensure outreach aligns with campaign goals. Maintain accurate records of outreach activities, community contacts, & engagement metrics within designated reporting systems. Actively participate in daily team meetings and training to enhance public speaking, engagement, and outreach skills. Identify potential challenges or barriers to community engagement & propose creative solutions to enhance accessibility & participation.
