This job reviews, analyzes, and modifies systems including encoding, testing, debugging and installing to support Epic systems; consults with users to identify current operating procedures and to clarify program objectives while relying on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Education Required - High School diploma or equivalent Preferred - Additional degrees, business training experience and/or certifications may be combined to meet minimum qualifications. Work Experience Required -2 years of IT experience OR 1 year of Epic experience Certifications Required - Epic Certification Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs) - Must have computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of information. - Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally. - Must be proficient with Windows-style applications, various software packages specific to role and keyboard. - Strong interpersonal skills. - Strong analytical skills - Good written and verbal communication skills Job Duties - Performs analysis, testing and troubling on assigned applications. - Modifies and supports assigned applications/systems as appropriate. - Provides support and troubleshooting to end users while documenting procedures. - Creates documentation to allow others to support the IT solutions and services appropriately. - Partners and communicates with assigned customers/end users while escalating potential concerns to management. - Works with customers to determine operational and clinical needs which may be met through the use of IT services and solutions. - Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple demands. - Maintains and enhances professional competencies and industry knowledge. - Other related duties as required.
