procedures competently and professionally, assures appropriate
handling and maintenance of equipment and supplies, and assures
availability of equipment and supplies for surgical procedures.
Scrubs for surgical procedures and performs other duties as
assigned by the RN.EducationRequired - High School diploma or
equivalent and Graduate from an accepted course in Surgical
Technology certification.Work ExperienceRequired - NonePreferred
-One year experience in a similar medical setting.Basic analytical
experience.CertificationsRequired - Certification in Surgical
TechnologyBasic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart
AssociationKnowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs)Good organizational
skillsGood time management skills and self directedDemonstrates
Good JudgementJob DutiesPerforms direct patient care duties,
including assisting physicians during proceduresAssists in the
day-to-day operations of the departmentMaintains required clinical
knowledge, technical skills, equipment, training and

mannerEnsures cleanliness and/disinfection of endoscopes while
maintaining quality control measuresOther related duties as
