- Performs routine maintenance service or repair.
- Complies with department standards and regulatory
- Performs all work in accordance with established safety
- Performs maintenance service or repairs on all Plant equipment,
IE: boilers, chillers, compressors, generators, fire pumps, medical
air pumps, vacuum pumps, electrical and mechanical calls.
- Performs maintenance and repair all hospital
electrical/mechanical and safety equipment.
- Performs all work in accordance with established Safety

Primary Job Duties:
- Answers all calls as necessary to, maintain and install
Hospital building mechanical and electrical systems and
- Inspects, installs, repairs and replaces electrical and
mechanical systems and/or components.
- Performs preventive maintenance on electrical and mechanical
systems hospital and plant related.
- Maintains compliance with all safety, local, state, federal and
regulatory agency requirements..
- Operates, maintains and repairs, boilers, chillers,
compressors, generators, pumps, and other plant related
Position Requirements: (Minimum qualifications for the
- Licensure/Certification/Registration: Appropriate for job:
license and/or certification. 2nd Class Engineer boiler/HVAC
- Education: High school diploma, vocational school certificate,
or equivalent in electrical, refrigeration, or plumbing trade.
- Experience: Preferred one to three years experience in a
commercial or hospital building.
- Special qualifications: Must be able to successfully complete
established competencies for the position within designated
